A larger laptop changes the whole load
Seventeen-inch machines can vary substantially in footprint, especially between thin notebooks and gaming systems. A bulky charger adds another rigid item to pack. Check the usable device compartment measurements and the arrangement of surrounding storage; fitting the computer alone is not enough if it leaves your other work essentials awkwardly stacked or difficult to reach.
Treat screening language carefully
A retailer’s TSA wording does not determine the procedure used at a checkpoint or the allowance attached to your ticket. Follow the instructions you receive while traveling and compare external dimensions with the airline’s rules. If the seller describes a screening-friendly opening, verify that feature directly rather than assuming it from the short catalog title.
