Learn the closures before departure
Find the instructions for the exact EXP45 and practice each relevant control with the bag packed. Consider which compartments you open most often and how their closures fit that routine. Security-oriented features can be useful, but they require correct use and do not turn any backpack into a theft-proof container.
Evaluate it as main luggage
Build the trip kit first and check the main opening, internal organization and outside measurements. A bag positioned as carry-on still needs comparison with your booked airline's rules.
