Quest pocket access and capacity
Think about whether you mostly pack once for the day or repeatedly retrieve different items. Inspect the current Quest's openings and organization against that pattern. Its capacity cannot be established from the catalog, so combine the access check with real measurements rather than assuming it is larger or smaller than the Contender.
Device, hiking and color-version checks
The Quest name does not prove hiking-specific storage or weather protection. Confirm those details if they matter, and check any device sleeve against the actual equipment you carry. When comparing the two colors, make sure the seller's model specifications agree so the decision remains about the same bag rather than an unrecognized version difference.
