Reach the computer from the top
The laptop area is advertised for most 15-inch computers. Its separate access is relevant to a day spent moving between meetings, workspaces or classrooms: you can plan the main load around things that stay packed while giving the computer its own retrieval routine. Measure a gaming or workstation chassis carefully, since machines with similar screen sizes can differ substantially in depth and width. Check whether a protective case still allows a smooth entry through the opening.
Use the side pockets deliberately
The two side utility pockets close with zippers, and the organization panel includes another zippered stash pocket. This makes the REV worth comparing when you prefer enclosed storage for adapters or other small equipment. Match those pockets to the objects you actually carry rather than treating every compartment as extra capacity. The listed 15-inch width and 10.5-inch depth also deserve attention around narrow seats or compact storage spaces. Rehearse the fully packed shape, not only the laptop fit, before choosing it for a crowded commute.
