Packability matters when you will actually stow it
Think about where the bag will live when it is not being worn: inside another travel bag, in a drawer, or elsewhere. Obtain its packed dimensions and packing method to see whether that feature serves your plan. The twenty-liter carrying capacity does not describe how much space the empty bag occupies when stored.
Check the load you expect after unfolding
A spare bag still needs to accommodate the objects you intend to carry comfortably and securely. Inspect the current model's compartments, straps, and any device provisions. If you will use all twenty liters frequently, compare its structure with a non-packable daily backpack so the storage convenience is weighed alongside the actual carrying experience.
Compare it with your actual load
